With over 16 years of experience across artist management, live promotion, conference programming, and music consultancy, Umong Shah has built a career dedicated to empowering artists and connecting global music communities.
As the founder of Fortitude Music, Umong has managed British, Canadian, Swedish, and American talent, guiding artists through rebranding, critically acclaimed releases, international touring, and global partnerships. His approach combines strategic planning with a deep respect for creativity, helping artists unlock opportunities while staying true to their identity.
Alongside management, Umong serves as Conference Director at Future Echoes (Norrköping, Sweden), where he curates international programming, develops thought-provoking panels, and strengthens bridges between industry professionals worldwide. He also leads Future Songs, a songwriting camp that brings together writers, producers, and mentors from across the globe to collaborate and innovate.
Earlier in his career, Umong promoted hundreds of live shows through Discovery Talent in London and gained management expertise at Chaos & Bedlam. He has also worked with major event partners, including AEG Presents, Golden Melody Awards (Taipei), and multiple international festivals, contributing expertise in programming, artist relations, and delegation building.
