Booking, Payment & Cancellation Rules

How Bookings Work

Making a Booking: To book a session with an expert, browse their profile page and click the booking link. You'll need to create an account to complete your booking. You can book as far in advance as you like, based on the expert's availability.

After You Book
: Once your booking is confirmed, you'll receive an email with all session details including date, time, and format (online or in-person). You'll also have access to the expert's email address for session-related coordination.
Session Preparation: To get maximum value from your session, identify your priorities beforehand. If you have specific challenges, you can share these with the expert ahead of time. If you're less certain about your needs, come prepared with a clear sense of where you are now and where you want to go.

Payment Terms

Pricing and Processing: Session costs are displayed on each expert's profile page. Payment is processed immediately via Stripe when you complete your booking. All major payment methods are accepted.
How Payments are Held: Your payment is held by The Team Around You until the session is completed. The expert receives their payment 48 hours after the session takes place.
Fee Structure: Typically 85% of your payment goes directly to the expert. The only deductions are Stripe's standard processing fees.
Receipts Stripe will automatically issue a receipt for all payments.

Cancellation Policy

Artist Cancellations: If you need to cancel, you must do so at least two full days (48 hours) before the scheduled session time to receive a full refund.
• Cancel more than 2 days in advance: Full refund, no charge
• Cancel less than 2 days in advance: No refund possible, as the expert must be paid
Expert Cancellations: If an expert cancels your session, you will not be charged. We monitor expert cancellations to ensure reliability. Experts who repeatedly cancel at short notice are addressed directly to respect your time.
How to Cancel Contact the expert directly to cancel your session. Once cancelled, you'll have the opportunity to reschedule if desired.

Refund Process

Requesting a Refund: To request a refund, cancel your session at least two days in advance following the process above. The refund will be processed automatically.
Disputes If you have concerns about the value or delivery of your session, contact us at support@theteamaroundyou.com. We will work with you to resolve any issues fairly.
