I’ve been in the music industry for over a decade. I began my career in artist and label services, where I worked my way up from an intern to a director, helping to build the company from 3 to over 40 people with global offices.
I’ll also be releasing my own music for the first time this year, so I completely understand the creative soul and the everyday hardships that artists face. I know what it means to wear multiple hats, juggle financial and creative pressures, navigate the constant need to be online, and the courage it takes to share your music in the first place.
Over the past few years I've been working as a Music Industry Consultant - where I provide A&R services for Unchained Music, as an artist mentor for Primal Live (where I was a previous artist contestant), booker at We Want Women (CIC) and sit on the committee of MiCannes - (a music industry showcase conference).
I also manage Alfie Jackson of The Holloways and I'm a board member at Mixlo, a new location-based streaming service and ticketing company. Alongside this, I work in partnerships roles at Radio Wigwam (booking gigs and onboarding artists and sponsors) and with the Green House Group a social media agency that's helped artists like Charlie XCX, Bloc Party, The Libertines and more.
Because I’ve worked across so many different areas of the music industry, I’m always happy to answer specific questions or just offer some honest advice. If you aren't sure where to start, here are a few ideas of what we could focus on:
⇾ Independent Release Strategy: Proven methods to successfully release your music. Understanding different distribution deals.
⇾ Pitching: How to get your music in front of the right industry players.
⇾ A&R & Feedback: Honest, constructive feedback on your tracks (this is best suited for ongoing or multiple sessions so we can truly dig into your sound).
⇾ Opening Doors: If I think your project is a good fit, for someone in my network, I am always happy to make introductions to the right people for your career.
⇾ Marketing & Social Media: Building an authentic voice on Social Media to help promote your music.
⇾ Live Performance: Advice on how to approach securing bookings.
⇾ Breaking New Markets: Expanding your audience beyond your local scene.
