Mand Humphreys is a seasoned music industry professional with over two decades 25 + in the music industry. From beginning her career at influential label Some Bizzare Records, to band management assistant, Simple Minds, Paul Young, Babylon Zoo. She’s worked at Sony, Warners, Virgin, MTV, the BBC and NME Magazine.  After a hiatus from the music biz to look after elderly parents she returned with a vengeance 5 years ago.  

She now manages up and coming bands, runs a PR Company ALT MUSIC PR and two influential music platforms The Best New Indie and Festivals Radar with over 30k followers across all platforms.

She can advise on release planning, fanbase growth, social media, connecting with contacts, getting gigs and on festival line ups.  

She specialises in the grassroots Indie, Punk and Alternative music scenes. She also spent 10 years as the drummer in many bands so understands the joys and the struggles of being in a band – she even played drums with Oasis (but that’s another story).
