Charlie is a UK-born songwriter, singer, guitarist and music coach based justoutside Berlin. Since his 2005 signing with EMI Music Publishing, he’sbeen weaving his songwriting magic with a range of artists from Simply Red and Melanie C to Marco Mengoni, Michael Patrick Kelly, LEA and Michael Schulte among others.
Charlie’s diverse portfolio includes crafting memorable tunes for bigbrands like Nivea and Audi Quattro. He’s dipped his toes intoeverything from penning a World Cup anthem for a German TV channel to co-producing the theme song for a Thomas the Tank Enginemovie. His work spans genres and borders, reflecting a versatile andglobal musical influence.
Charlie loves mentoring new talents. Having done his 10,000 hourshoning his songwriting craft - and sharing his experience and passion for songwriting in teaching and mentoring roles at BIMM, LCCM and The Songwriting Academy, he’s excited to share what he’s learned and watch artists grow and find their unique voices.
